Daniel has been working with at-risk youth in residential programs for over 16 years. He is energized by joining young men in the work of reconciling their pasts and building hope for their futures. The opportunity to do that work in a true community-based setting where youth are given the chance to broaden their horizons and have new life experiences is what drew him to Mapletree. He joined the Mapletree team in 2012 after completing his Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at the joint program of the University of St. Thomas and St. Catherine University. He also has a Bachelor's degree in Intercultural Studies from Crown College. When he is not at work, Daniel loves camping, music, soccer and spending time with his wife and three children.
